WHERE DO BABIES COME FROM?
Mayans believed that the Underworld gods cut off a man's head, then the daughter of the Underworld god goes up to the the head and has a brief conversation with it. After they're done with the conversation the head spits in the lady's hand and she becomes pregnant with her child.

THE SACRED GAME
The Mayans play a game where teams had to pass a rubber ball through a stone ring. Only certain men and gods can play the game. Although the meaning of the game is unclear, according to my research, the players represent the struggle between light and
dark. The ball represents the move of the stars through heaven.

THE MAYAN CALENDAR
The mayans created a celender which ends its cycle on Dec. 21st. The mayan made different kinds of calenders. One of which is called haab, the suns year. It had 18 months, and each  month had 20 days in it. This is equal to 360 days. The mayans added 5 numbers to that and cinsidered them unlucky. "With its total of 365 days, the mayan calender was the most advanced system of marking days."
