THE MAYAN CALENDAR The mayans created a celender which ends its cycle on Dec. 21st. The mayan made different kinds of calenders. One of which is called haab, the suns year. It had 18 months, and each month had 20 days in it. This is equal to 360 days. The mayans added 5 numbers to that and cinsidered them unlucky. "With its total of 365 days, the mayan calender was the most advanced system of marking days." |
